Pink...

I am getting sick and tired of seeing all these pink items for breast cancer.  Why does it have to be breast cancer?  I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with focusing on a cancer that is more susceptible to affect women than men, but why can't we just support curing cancer in general?  I'm pretty sure cancer is cancer regardless of where it forms.  What are your feelings?

  2. actually, almost every type of cancer is different, and need individual research in order to create a cure. for example, there are at least 3 different kinds of breast cancer, and each of these needs to be researched separately in order to find a cure

  3. 6 million people die per year because of food starvation, that's as many as the number of jews who dies during the holocaust, but nobody give a f*ck to it because it dont touch them.
I personnally hate all the publicity campaigns that do a sh!tload of $$$ by all the marketing of diseases etc.
    Keep up your blog mate

  4. Yeah I always wondered why there was so much focus on breast cancer, while other cancers are going unnoticed. There should be one cancer foundation and the money should go to where it is most needed.

  5. It's tiring, but it's for a good cause. And, during football season, I get a little giggle out of the pink-highlighted players.

  6. I don't really know if pink is the right color to associate with something like cancer. I wonder who came up with this idea?

  7. I agree. Any type of cancer research will help. I'm tired of seeing breast cancer awareness ribbons. There are other types of insidious cancers that affect the population as much as breast cancer.

  13. my feelings are that supporting the fight for cancer is dumb, period. there are more people making a living from cancer than dying from it so the medical industry doesn't really want a cure. but hey, thats just me.

for info on curing cancer, i recommend http://vitaminb17.org/

i am in no way affiliated with that site and not trying to sell anything. they just have an interesting view of cancer there, and a potential cure.

  17. Seems to me everybody knows about the existence breast cancer, and cancer in general. When I see people with pink products and such I don't about donating I wonder why that person has to brag about their donations.
